God-like

In a world-battlefield of
conflicting ideals,
contrary conceptions of
reality and realms,
the popular will always be determined
by those who hold the puppet- and purse-strings
of what reality is purported to be.
It is not truth, then, on the scaffold,
but whatever view has fallen out of favour with
the deified humanistic establishment of order.
Divinity, so self-bestowed,
has no greater value than the dust-bin,
for without objectivity it can hold no power,
other than the means
and mercenaries it has
secured for itself.
As the prophets of Ba’al of old
cut themselves and screamed
to no effect,
so modern mythologies quaver
in the face of the true and living God.
